21 Guilty Pleas, 7 No Shows



21 defendants entered guilty pleas to the charges against them, and seven failed to show up, in the Cannon County General Sessions Court of Judge Susan Melton Tuesday, March 29.

• Tony Ray Bain pled guilty to driving without a license. He was given a 30-day suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $2, and ordered to pay court costs.

• Jemery Aaron Bilbrey pled guilty to driving on a suspended license. He was given a 6 month suspended sentenced, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs.

• Tisha E. Chapman pled guilty to driving on a suspended license. She was given a 6-month suspended sentenced, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs. Charges of speeding (76/55) and violation of the financial responsibility law were dismissed.

• Anthony Quinn Epperson, Jr. pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs.

• Xochitl Escobedo pled guilty to driving without a license. She was given a 30-day suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $2 and ordered to pay court costs.

• Gary Eubanks, pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve his entire sentence.

• Rebecca Louise Glowacky pled guilty to driving on a suspended license. She was given a 6-month suspended sentenced, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs. A speeding charge with dismissed.

• Randy Lynn Hall led guilty to a charge of theft under $500. He was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days, placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was also ordered to pay court costs and restitution.

• Bridgette Shyanne Johnson pled guilty to two counts of driving on a suspended license. On each count she was given a 6-month suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50, and ordered to pay court costs.

• Kim Johnson pled guilty to a charge of harassment. She was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was also ordered to pay court costs and have no direct or indirect contact with the victim.

• Raymond Lee Knox, Jr., charged with assault with injury, was continued for 12 months subject to good and lawful behavior. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim or the victim's family.

• Larry Dean Leftwich, Jr. pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 35 days in the Cannon County Jail. He was given credit for 35 days served and placed back on probation for 10 months, 24 days.

• Clark E. Love pled guilty to driving without a license.  He was given a 30-day suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $2 and ordered to pay court costs. Charges of speeding and violation of the financial responsibility law were dismissed.

• Saul Martinez pled guilty to DUI. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was ordered to serve 10 days in the county jail and given credit for 10 days served. He was fined $350 and ordered to pay court costs. A charge of no driver’s license was dismissed.

• Joseph Carl McCardell, charged with traveling on roadways laned for traffic, was dismissed upon payment of court costs.

• Timothy Daniel Meeks pled guilty to possession of Schedule IV drugs. He was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was also fined $750. Meeks also pled guilty to charges of driving on a suspended license and driving on a revoked license. On the DOSL charge he was given a 6-month suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs. On the DORL charge he was given a 6-month partially suspended sentence, order to serve 48 hours in the county jail, pay a $50 and court costs. He will also lose his license for one year. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, expired tag and failure to show proof of insurance were dismissed.

• Jeremy Nelson Moulder pled guilty to driving on a suspended license. He was given a 6-month suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs.

• Winfred George Nunley pled guilty to driving without a license. He was given a 30-day suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was fined $2 and ordered to pay court costs. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

• Ashley Nichole Pope pled guilty to simple possession of marijuana. She was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was fined $250 and ordered to pay court costs. Pope also pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time.  She was fined $150 and ordered to pay court costs. Charges of possession of a Legend drug were dismissed.

• Marlin Christopher Prater, charged with five counts of violation of probation, had his bond revoked after he failed a drug test. He was remanned to the custody of the Cannon County Sheriff's Department and his case was continued until April 26.

• Tina M. Prater pled guilty to driving without a license. She was given a 30-day suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $2 and ordered to pay court costs. A charge of failure to exercise due care was dismissed.

• Robert Owen Smith pled guilty to driving without a license. He was given a 30-day suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $2 and ordered to pay court costs. A charge of driving an unregistered vehicle was dismissed.

• Mandi Dawn Sullivan pled guilty to a charge of reckless endangerment. She was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days, order to serve 48 hours in the county jail, placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days, fined $350 and ordered to pay court costs. A charge of running a stop sign was dismissed.

• Justin Todd pled guilty to a charge of violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 60 days in the county jail, and given credit for two days served. Upon release he will be placed back on probation for 7 months, 26 days.

• Walter L. Bess, charged with domestic assault and aggravated burglary, failed to appear. A Capias was issued for his arrest.

• Mark Anthony Pless, charged with violation of probation, failed to appear. A Capias was issued for his arrest.

• Janice Diana Somers, charged with driving on a revoked license, failed to appear. A Capias was issued for her arrest.

• Don A. Stephens, Jr., charged with violation of probation, failed to appear. A Capias was issued for his arrest.

• Cynthia Carol Taylor, charged with speeding (64/55), failed to appear.

• Juan Shane Urban, charged with worthless check, failed to appear. A Capias was issued for his arrest.

• Tyler B. Fults, charged with driving on a revoked license, failed to appear. A Capias was issued for his arrest.

• Robert Lee Odom, charged with two counts of theft under $500, was dismissed at the request of the state.

• Eric Daniel Bogle, charged with domestic assault and child abuse, was continued until June 21. In the meantime, Bogle will be extradicted to Florida where he is facing violation of probation charges.

• David Jonathan Miller, charged with violation of probation, was continued until April 26. Miller is facing two DUI charges in Rutherford County.

• Michael H. Thomas, charged with violation of probation, was continued until June 21.

• Courtne Grayson Elrod, charged with theft under $500, was continued until April 19.

• Bethany H. Tate (Elrod), theft under $500, was continued until April 19.

• Michael Kelly Campbell, charged with DUI 2nd offense, speeding (69/55) and violation of the window tinting law, was continued until April 19.

• Mary Ellen Carmack, charged with burglary of a vehicle, theft under $500, vandalism under $500 and filing a false report, was continued until June 21.

• Brandon Scott Watson, charged with theft of property, was continued until April 19.

• Patsy Ann Whitaker, charged with violation of probation, was continued until June 21.

• Jeremy Lynn Tenpenny, charged with reckless endangerment, felony evading arrest, suspended license (two counts) and violation of probation (three counts), was continued until May 17.

• Marcus Edward Tenpenny, charged with no driver’s license (two counts), reckless driving, reckless endangerment and felony evading arrest, was continued until May 17.

• James C. Pittard, charged with domestic assault (two counts), aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, felony evading arrest and vandalism, was continued until June 21.

• Laura Y. Hedgepath, charged with possession of Schedule II (morphine), was continued until April 19.

• Chad Everett Haley, charged with simple possession of Schedule III drugs and criminal impersonation, was continued until April 19.
