The 9th Annual Special Kids Race will be held this Saturday, March 7, at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic (MMC). Special Kids is hosting a 15K, 10K, 5K and one mile family fun run.

The event welcomes all levels of participants and encourages the whole family to get involved. Race fees are $60 for the 15K, $55 for the 10K, $50 for the 5K and $25 for the one mile family fun run. A "Virtual Runner" option is also available for $30 if a participant would still like to be involved but cannot attend on the actual race day. Registration is currently available online through Friday, March 6th, at specialkidsrace.org. Event day registration will be available on March 7 for an additional $5 late fee.

Ellie is this year's Impact Special Kids partner for the 9th annual Special Kids Race. Joy exudes from Ellie when you're in her presence. She is silly, sweet, funny, loving, and happy. Ellie's positive demeanor no doubt has gotten her to where she is today as she has beaten the odds the medical community initially gave her. For the ninth year, all race expenses are covered by sponsors, allowing funds from registration fees to directly benefit children with special needs at Special Kids.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs.
