Youth Teams Offered Special Ticket
 Price At WNBA Exhibition

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech Athletics has put together a special ticket package for youth teams in the region, but they will need to act quickly to take advantage of the offer.

The first 20 youth teams to purchase tickets at a special group rate for the May 9 WNBA exhibition game between the Atlanta Dream and Washington Mystics will receive a commemorative WNBA basketball in a pregame presentation.

“This is a first-come, first-served offer for the first 20 teams, so we’re really encouraging them to call as soon as possible,” said Misty Pearson, TTU director of corporate sales and marketing.
The tickets are just $5 each when purchased as a group, Pearson explained.

Former Tech head coach Marynell Meadors is the head coach and general manager of the Atlanta Dream, whose roster includes former Tennessee All-American Chamique Holdsclaw. The Dream also recently added former Georgia stars Kelly and Coco Miller to their roster.

The game is slated for a 3 p.m. tipoff in Eblen Center, the first professional game in the venue. The team will also be available to sign autographs following the contest.
