WPD Plans Safety And Sobriety Checkpoints May 28-29

The Woodbury Police Department will be conducting safety and sobriety checkpoints on Friday May 28th and Saturday May 29th 2010.

These roadblocks will be held in conjunction with the Governors Highway Safety Offices' Click It or Ticket Campaign.

The roadblocks will be held on Highway 53 and Highway 70 here in Woodbury.

"We are committed to making the town of Woodbury a safer place over the upcoming holiday weekend. Be sure to drive soberly and buckle up," Woodbury Police Chief Tony Burnett said.
