Woodbury Weight Watchers To Start New Session Dec. 1

Treat yourself to a Christmas present this year with a 10 or 12 week membership in the Weight Watchers program at Woodbury. A new series of meetings will start on Thursday, December 1st in the community room in the back of  the U.T. Extension Office at 614 Lehman Street, across from the Woodbury Senior Citizens Center.

The cost to join is $120 new members, $110 returning members, $100 for Life Members at least 2 pounds over goal, and as always, free to Life Members within goal.

As a community based program there are minimum enrollment requirements for this group, which has met continuously for over three years. If at least 15 are enrolled by December 1st the session will extend to 12 weeks at no added cost, a bonus of two weeks free!

Checks or cash only. Checks must contain two phone numbers, and a driver’s license number. If paying by check the amount may be split into two payments, half the amount dated December 1st and the second check dated January 2nd. (both checks will be due at the December 1st meeting.)

Membership in the Weight Watchers program includes confidential weekly weigh-ins starting at 4:45 p.m. on Thursdays, followed by short meetings. In addition, membership benefits include all the necessary written materials for healthy weight loss success and a caring, supportive, fun loving group.

You will learn new cooking techniques, how to shop and cook real foods for you and your family, how to make best choices when eating out in restaurants and even at holiday parties and church suppers!

You could be slimmer and healthier by the New year! Now that’s a nice present … not only for you but for your whole family! If you still have questions you may call Weight Watchers member Anna Bertram at 765-5357.
