Woodbury Soldier Is Home At Last
Hello, from Woodbury, TN, otherwise known as HOME! I arrived in Smyrna, TN on Sunday evening. We traveled from Iraq to Kuwait to Bangor Maine to Ft. Sill, OK to Smyrna, TN. It was a long process and a few nights of no sleep, but in the end it was all worth it.

This is my second day at home and life is good. I sure wish it would get a little warmer. Last Tuesday it was 110 in Kuwait, we arrived in Ft Sill, OK on Thursday and it was 26 and snowing, what a drastic change. Home is just as wonderful as it was when I left, maybe better since I know what it's like to not have the "finer things" in life.

All soldiers get excited to take a shower in their shower in private with no shoes and clean water, and I was excited as well. We have all missed a year of time with our loved one's and have a lot to make up for, and I am so ready!

The past year has been something I will never forget nor regret, as I love this country we all call home. Thank you for your support, thoughts, prayers, and care packages, I could truly feel the love from each of you.

We are having a welcome home party on April 17th at the Readyville Mill from 2-5 p.m. and I hope to see many of you there.

I am taking one day at a time and enjoying life and time with my family. Life is good and for that I am thankful.

Please continue to pray for our troops on foreign soil, and for our troops who have just returned home, as they adjust to "life" again.

Thank you, God Bless and God Speed,
