Woodbury Grammar School held its first family reading night September 1, 2009 in the school’s library. We enjoyed a “Mexican” theme. We would like to thank Carla and Matt Bush for being our special guest readers for the evening.

Carla read a book with a lot of Spanish words for the occasion and Matt helped with pronunciation. After the story the students and their parents were given a chance to browse through the books. Some chose to checkout books to take home while others chose to read their books in the library.

One great thing about WGS family reading night is the students can earn double AR points on tests they take during the event. We would like to thank all of the families that brought their children and read with us.

We hope that more will be able to join us for our next family reading night which is scheduled for November 3rd from 6:00 until 7:00. Our guest will be Miss Emily Sissom. Miss Sissom is currently a junior at CCHS. She recently accepted a scholarship from Union University to play Basketball.
