Cannon County is a place with many unexpected wonders. From the views at Short Mountain to the talented artisans, you never quite know what you may find. One of those unexpected gems that you may not know much about is the Woodbury Day School.

Located at the lower level of the Woodbury Church of Christ, classes are offered for ages 2-4. The student to teacher ratio is small enough that your child will be engaged throughout the day. The Day School represents family, learning, love, and God.

Children will be prepared for grade school while also gaining a foundation of Bible knowledge. The entire school meets every morning for a devotional lead by the schools "Bible teacher" Mrs. Sue Darby, who's storytelling ability is yet another hidden jewel they have to offer.

The Day School prides itself on being family friendly and encourages parents to visit their children. They also provide special days such as Grandparents Day, Donuts with Dads, Muffins with Mom's, Dress Up Day, A Day at the Farm, and a pumpkin patch field trip to encourage fellowship and fun with the families and their children.

n a society where education and God are no longer mixed, the day school is a breath of fresh air and another hidden gem our sweet town has to offer. What better way to start your child's educational journey than with one that includes God.

Please contact the school's director Becky Vassar at 615-563-5119 for more information on enrolling your child.

Thanks for the great article on Woodbury Day School. I have two granddaughters that attend and they love it. The teachers and helpers are great. The love and smiles are so refreshing. Ms Becky does a great job and knowing there is a place where kids can learn so many skills and have God included is wonderful. God bless Woodbury Day School.
