The Woodbury Police Department was looking for a Manchester woman last week, and the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept. found her – sitting on a road.

Elizabeth Nicole Owen, 1516 Hills Chapel Rd., Apt. 58, Manchester, was charged with criminal trespass on May 16 by Woodbury Police Sgt. Lowell Womack.

Owen allegedly entered the property of Cannon County High School through a gate clearly marked “No Trespassing, Authorized Personnel Only” and remained in the property without consent to do so.

Owen was found sitting on Doolittle Rd. on May 22 by Cannon County Sheriff’s deputies. She said she was upset with a family member and had left her car at the Quick Shop and started walking to cool off.

While checking her identification deputies learned there was an active warrant against her for trespassing. She was taken to the Cannon County Jail and booked. Bond was set at $1,600. Initial court date is June 14.
