Woman Fined $8,000 For Facilitating Pot Growing



Mary Singer entered a conditional plea of guilty to the Facilitation Of The Manufacture Of Marijuana Over 100 Plants. She was placed on state supervised probation for 3 years under judicial diversion, fined $8,000 and assessed supervision fees. She will also have to forfeited property seized during the course of the investigation. A co-defendant, Singer’s husband, Christopher Lee Singer, previously entered conditional pleas of guilty to Attempt To Manufacture Marijuana (over 100 plants) and to Maintaining A Dwelling To Manufacture Marijuana.

In other cases presided over by Judge Don Ash on Friday (Feb. 10):

• Brandi Paul pled guilty to four counts of TennCare Fraud. Paul was originally charged with five counts of the offense. On each conviction she was give a 2 year suspended sentence, to run concurrent, 2 years state supervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs, and on each count she must repay TennCare the amount of 253.82.

• Dillon Collette admitted to guilt to the charge of Simple Possession Of Marijuana. He entered into an agreed order of retirement and was placed on probation for 18 months. He must also pay court costs.

• Jerry L. Sissom pled guilty to Aggravated Assault. He received a 3 year suspended sentence, equal time on probation, and was assessed court costs. Sissom also pled guilty to Reckless Endangerment With A Deadly Weapon and received a 3 year suspended sentence, equal probation time, and was assessed court costs. He also pled guilty to Domestic Assault. He received an 11 month, 29 day suspended sentence, 11 months, 29 days on probation, and was assessed court costs. His three sentences will run concurrent.

• Crystal Spring Mahahon pled guilty to Introduction Of Contraband Into A Penal Institution. She received a 10 year sentence partially suspended sentence, was ordered to serve 12 months, and was placed on probation for 10 years. That sentence will run consecutive to any current sentences she is serving. McMahon also pled guilty to Possession Of Schedule III Drugs With Intent To Deliver. She received an 8 year suspended sentence, equal time on probation, a $2,000 fine and court costs. To a third charge, McMahon pled guilty to Possession Of Schedule IV Drugs With Intent To Deliver and received an 8 year suspended sentence, equal time on probation, a $2,000 and was assessed court costs.

• Christopher Paul Lefever agreed to revocation on the charge of Violation Of Probation. He was released on time served and placed on state supervised probation for 6 years. He was also ordered to receive an alcohol and drug assessment. Lafever agreed to serve his entire sentence if he violated probation again.

• Vickie Marsh agreed to revocation on the charge of Violation Of Probation. She was ordered to serve 60 days in jail. Upon release she will be placed back on probation for 2 years, 11 months and 29 days. That probation will be state supervised. Marsh agreed to serve her entire sentence for any future probation violations.

• Lea Ann Farless agreed to revocation on the charge of Violation Of Probation. She was ordered to serve her original sentence of 11 months, 29 days and will then be placed back on probation for 11 months, 29 days. She was also ordered to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed by the probation service.

• Johnny Lyons, Jr. agreed to revocation on the charge of Violation Of Probation. He was ordered to serve 60 days in jail. His original 6 year sentence of Community Corrections was reinstated. Lyons agreed to serve the entirety of his sentence for any future violations.

• William Holt agreed to revocation on the charge of Violation Of Probation. He was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and then will be placed back on state supervised probation for 1 year. He was also ordered to received an alcohol and drug assessment. Holt agreed to serve his entire sentence for any future violations.
