Following are the latest arrest and incident reports as recorded by the Woodbury Police Department and the Cannon County Sheriff's Department. Readers are advised that an allegation or report of a crime does not necessarily constitute a crime, or that one took place. All persons accused of crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Woodbury Police Department Incident Reports for 11.18.2009

11.16.2009 — William H. Drake ran over a brick mailbox at 120 Bradford Way and was later charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving while on a suspended license, and lacking proof of financial responsibility.

Cannon County Sheriff's Office Incident Reports for 11.18.2009

11.11.2009 — Michael Freeze, agent for Cannon Market, presented four worthless checks written by Ms. Terri Ann Walls. A warrant was issued and served on Ms. Walls at the jail where she was incarcerated on similar charges.

11.12.2009 — Deputy Brandon Mims was dispatched to 1298 Peeler Road for damage done to a mailbox. Resident David Stone reported hearing what sounded like a "small car with a loud or broken exhaust." A passing motorist reported three young guys in a truck where Peeler meets Highway 53. A number of mailboxes as well as the streetsign at Jimtown and Peeler Hill were run over.

11.12.2009 — Ronald Hayes had a black 16' gooseneck trailer with bent fenders stolen from him sometime between Oct. 28 and Nov. 5. The incident is believed to have occurred around the time of the theft of Hal Larimer's gooseneck trailer.

11.13.2009 — Deputy Anthony Young was dispatched to 265 Lawson Lane where Abigail Beeton stated she was having homicidal thoughts — wanting to cut off people's hands and feet so they wouldn't go to hell. She believed this would get people into heaven instead. Ms. Beeton has been diagnosed with schizo-effective disorder and had not been taking her medication for about seven days. Ms. Beeton was transported to Stones River Hospital for evaluation.

11.13.2009 — Deputy Aaron Hillis was dispatched to 475 Basham Ridge Rd in reference to a stolen license plate. Margaret Odom's plate had been stolen from her farm truck. The number is 452 VJW.

11.13.2009 — Deputy Anthony Young was dispatched to 4263 Sycamore Creek Road where Robin Thomas's GMC pickup truck had caught fire after the vehicle had been operating strangely. When she put the vehicle in park she heard a pop and it caught fire. The fire department came and put out the fire.

11.14.2009 — Deputy Anthony Young was dispatched to 1784 Readyville St. where Dustin Toy's home had been broken into and a clumsy attempt was made to open his gun safe with a hammer. The safe held up but was damaged. It seemed as if the offender knew exactly where Mr. Toy's gun safe was. A boot print was collected from the door.

11.15.2009 — A warrant was served without incident in the booking room of the CCSD for Violation of Probation on Shawn L. Fienstien.

11.15.2009 — Deputy Anthony Young was dispatched to Stones River Hospital where Jimmy Brindley reported that his four year old German shepard dog had attacked him after acting strange for some time. Brindley shot and killed the dog.

11.16.2009 — Deputy Reed Bryson was dispatched to 3357 Pea Ridge Rd. because Wesley Fults's Ford Ranger had been vandalized with shaving cream, Easy cheese, and Saran Wrap. Mr. Fults suspects his ex-girlfriend Brittney Duncan might be the perpetrator.

11.16.2009 — Brittany Reinitz reported that sometime in September a Bank of America escrow check had been stolen from her mailbox. Investigation revealed that the check was sent on Sept. 2 and cleared Sept. 22. The check had been used at the Smithville Wal-Mart.

11.16.2009 — Lt. Brad Hall took a report at 305 Serenity Lane from Mattie Clinard whose detached garage had been broken into. Ms. Clinard noticed nothing missing but her husband was out of town and might notice something she missed. A strange couple had come to her home the previous day wanting to pray for Ms. Clinard and save the world. They left when asked.

11.16.2009 — Robert Bogard reported that a motorized water pump had been stolen from the Ivy Bluff Methodist Church's well. The theft occurred some time between Nov. 8 and 16.

11.17.2009 — Deputy Brandon Mims was dispatched to 7290 Hurricane Rd in reference to a possible stolen gun. The lady who had called the police refused to cooperate with Mims' report and eventually went into her home and locked the door. She said she did not need the deputy and would contact the proper department later. Deputy Mims did not see any signs that the lady was being held up and the other people in the home seemed not to be scared or upset. Dispatch informed Deputy Mims that Theresa Columbo had called 911 to report a non-emergency (stolen gun) and been informed to call 563-4322 to report such incidents. This is perhaps what led to the confusion.
