Woman Arrested For Giving Officers A Hand

A Woodbury woman has been charged with assault after she failed to adhere to the commands of police officers.

On July 9, Robyn Wilmoth "did approach a police vehicle containing her boyfriend after being told by police to stay away" according to the Woodbury Police Department report.

Officer John Fesmire "had to put a hand between Wilmoth and the vehicle and tried to push her back. Wilmoth did strike the officer on the hand. Wilmoth did fight the officer as he attempted to control her."

Wilmoth, along with Marcus Tenpenny and Joshua Crook also of Woodbury, is also facing charges of Aggravated Burglary and Theft over $1000. They will appear before Judge Susan Melton on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

Wilmoth is also facing charges from a June 13 incident of no driver's license, driving without a license and violation of the insurance law.

In other recent WPD activity, Amanda R. Hollis was charged on July 10 with driving on a restricted license, 2nd offense, and violation of the financial responsibility law.
