William P. Johnson

William "Bill" P. Johnson, 60, died March 18, 2010, at Skyline Medical Center.

A native of Davidson County, Mr. Johnson was a resident of Goodlettsville.

A member of the Baptist faith, Mr. Johnson was a special education teacher who held a master's degree.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Victor Johnson and Margaret Carolin Powell Johnson.

Surviving are two daughters, Hope Johnson Payne of Readyville and Beth (James) Miles of Morrison; three step children, Wendy Brothers, Wade (Karen) Brothers and Lori (Tommy) Todd, all of Woodbury; two grandsons, Zachary Payne and Caden Miles; three step grandsons, Jake and Seth Todd and Alex Brothers; a sister, Emmie (Tim) Brophy of Gainesville; and a brother, Dallas (Shirley) Johnson of Birmingham, AL.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 24, in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Wright officiating.
