Aggravated Assault

Anthony Jackson was charged with aggravated assault following an incident on Myrtle Road. Jackson was accused of throwing a two-liter bottle of Mello Yello and hitting his aunt, Vivan Johnson, in the face. Multiple stitches were required to close the wound. Jackson's hearing was set for April 4 in General Sessions Court. Bond was set at $10,000.

Structure Fire

A storage building at 981 Will Daniel Road burned, destroying a number of items including a Bad Boy Maverick zero turn mower, a Generac Generator, Dewalt miter saw, a Snap-on tool box and a number of other tools.

Handguns Stolen

A Taurus 9mm and a Smith and Wesson .40-caliber handgun were still from a home on Main Street in Auburntown.

Rifle, Shotgun Stolen

A .22-caliber single shot rifle and a 12-gauge single shot shotgun were stolen from the home of Jimmy Haley.

DUI

Shannon Tyler Babich was charged with DUI, first offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for June 13 in General Sessions Court.


Driving on Suspended License

Mercedes Laray Porter was charged with driving on a suspended license by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for March 14 in General Sessions Court.

Driving Without License

Jennifer C. Wilkey was charged with driving without a license by Patrolman T. Miller. A hearing is set for March 14 in General Sessions Court.

Driving on a Revoked License

Connie A. Barnes was charged with driving on a revoked license by Patrolman Dustin Pack. A hearing is set for April 11 in General Sessions Court.
