Weapons, drug charges in General Sessions



Judge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday.  Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included:

David Rodger Allmon pled guilty to carrying a weapon.  He was sentenced to 30 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $25 fine and the costs.

Sterling Bennett Gipson pled guilty to possession of a schedule III drug.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $750 fine and the costs.  In another case Gipson pled guilty to resisting arrest.  He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Austin Cole Heath agreed to the violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve 45 days and his probation was extended 11 months.

George Michael Holder was found to be in violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve his original sentence of 23 months 28 days.

Jeffery Andrew Johnson agreed to the violation of his probation.  His probation was extended 11 months 24 days.Jeremy Kenneth Leedom agreed to the violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve 20 days and his probation was extended 10 months 18 days.

Jesse Lee Miller pled guilty to possession of marijuana.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $250 fine and the costs.

Terri Lynn Ortkiese pled guilty to possession of a schedule II drug.  She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 17 days, equal time on probation, paying a $750 fine and the costs.

Stacie Leann Smith agreed to the violation of her probation.  She was ordered to serve 1 day and her probation was extended 11 months 28 days.

Steven Wayne Underwood agreed to the violation of his probation.  His probation was extended 8 months 29 days.

Russell Dale Walls agreed to the violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve 30 days and his probation was extended 11 months 27 days.

Terence John McElhennon pled guilty under judicial diversion to possession of a schedule I drug.  He was placed on probation for 11 months 29 days, ordered to pay a $750 fine and the costs.

Ashley Ann Bost's charges of forgery, theft under $500, criminal trespass, and aggravated burglary were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

David L. Foster, Jr's charges of possession of a schedule II drug, initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of a weapon with the intent to go armed were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Angela Michelle Prater's charge of initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine was bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Michael Lee Prater's charge of initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine was bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.
