Wanted Man Can't Fool Fesmire

Michael McClure, 526 McFerrin St., Woodbury, was charged with criminal impersonation and possession of drug paraphernalia on June 23 by Woodbury Police Patrolman John Fesmire.

While Patrolman Fesmire was investigating an incident at West End Tobacco, McClure initially told him his name was Michael Faulk.

McClure eventually admitted to his actual name after his real name was discovered on the registration of the vehicle he was driving.

Patrolman Fesmire also had personnel knowledge of McClure’s true identity and the fact he had an outstanding warrant.

During an inventory search of McClure’s vehicle, two bags of marijuana seeds were found. His bond was set at $4,500. Initial court date is Aug. 23.
