Walter Lee Brown

Graveside services for Walter Lee Brown, 64, are planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at Woodbury Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Brown died Saturday, Dec. 15, at Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro.

A Lewisburg, TN native, he was a member of the Church of Christ, he was a retired disabled Veteran where he served in the Air Force.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter L. Brown, Sr. & Freida Hart Lane and his stepfather, James (Chick) Thornton

 Surviors include his son, David Lane Brown of Readyville; two sisters, Betty Sullivan and Patty Poe, both of Murfreesboro; nieces and nephews; and the mother of his son, Janice Simmons Brown of Woodbury.
