The Veterans and Concerned Citizens for the Veterans of Cannon County will meet at 6:30PM on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at the Senior Citizens Center in Woodbury.

All of our World War I Veterans are gone. This year we are trying to get all World War II veterans to fill these nominations. Our World War II Veterans are getting few and far between. If you know a World War II veteran from any of the military service branches that you would like to nominate, call Jim Stone at

Let's honor our World War II Veterans while we can.  We are also planning our Veteran's Day Program at the Cannon County High School on Friday, 11 November, and our Annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, 12 November.  God bless this great country, God bless our Veterans, God bless our men and women serving in the military today, and God bless you.
