Veterans Meeting August 5

The Veterans and Concerned Citizens for the Veterans of Cannon County will meet at 6:30PM on Thursday, August 5, 2010, at the Senior Citizens Center, next to the Veterans Memorial Gym, on Lehman Street, in Woodbury.

Starting in August we are getting ready for our Veterans Day Program at Cannon County High School on Friday, November 12 and our Veterans Day Parade on Saturday November 13.  This our 17th year working with Cannon County High School honoring our Veterans.  In September we nominate our Marshals for each Military Service and our Grand Marshal for our Parade.

Be sure to see our new poster for 2010 — "Support the Veterans of Cannon County"  Our Goal for 2010 is to have a support poster in the window of every business in Woodbury.  Please help us to support the Veterans of Cannon County.  Thank you.
