Vera Pearl Haley Miller, age 88, of Woodbury, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was a native of Calhoun, GA.

Survivors include her children, Dale (Mary) Arnold of Smyrna, Pam Arnold (David) Prater, Earley Rains, Sheila Rains, & Tracy Miller (David) Higgins, all of Woodbury; Sister, Dora Lee Thomas of Woodbury; 12 Grandchildren, Shirlene (Jerry) Lyles, Angela (Rodney) Young, Marlin Prater, Maranda Rains, Jesse Rains, Brandy LaFever, Hailey Rains, Ashley Morgan, and Zach, Bekah, Addison, & Hannah Higgins; 4 Step Grandchildren, Eddie, Jerry, Pam, & Martha; 7 Great Grandchildren, Bionca (Bret) Waller, Heather (Jared) Smith, Tyler (Brooke) Young, Justin Prater, Chris Warrick, Bo Barrett, & Madison Todd; 4 Great Great Grandchildren, Evyn Waller, Jaxon Smith, Addilyn Smith, & Kensley Young. Also surviving are 6 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac & Flora Gann Haley; Brothers, Carl Haley, William "Neb" Haley, George Haley; Sisters, Hattie Thomas, Lucille Nipper, Betty Ruth Haley; Half Brothers, Sam, Frank, & Ed Haley; 3 Husbands, Wilburn H. Arnold, Ralph Rains, & Hobert Miller; and Great Granddaughter, Paisley Todd.

Ms. Miller was a member of the Dillon Street Baptist Church and was retired from Jefferson-Smurfit.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bros. Ray Patrick, Richard Haley, & David Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Manus Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 4 to 10 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Zach Higgins, Tyler Young, Chris Warrick, Justin Prater, Jesse Rains, Chris Young, Casey Barrett, & Bret Waller.
