Mrs. Vera Latimer Shirley, 92, died at home on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Atlanta, GA.

Mrs. Shirley was born and raised in Woodbury, TN. She moved to Murfreesboro in 1954 where she worked for Production Credit Assoc. as an assistant bookkeeper. Later she served the company as Vice President and Treasurer.  Mrs. Shirley moved to Atlanta in 1984 and remained there until her death. Mrs. Shirley was the widow of Luke L. Shirley.
 
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Shirley Seals; granddaughter, Vera Katherine Seals-Deese and great-granddaughter, Vera Grace Deese.
