UT Extension to 'Focus On Fashion' May 29-31

There is more to fashion than meets the red carpet. Youth in grades 8th-12th are invited to join us as we explore the fashion industry in Nashville, TN. The three day educational event conducted by UT Extension is scheduled for May 29-31st. It will be filled with interesting hands on workshops, fashion focused tours, shopping and fun with friends.

Highlights of the 2018 Family and Consumer Sciences / 4-H Behind the Scenes Camp include:

• Tour of Manuel's Studio

• Shopping at Cool Springs Galleria

• Hands on sewing project

• Meet local fashion designers and bloggers

• Country Music Hall of Fame tour

• Up-Cycle T-shirt activity

• Make and take jewelry workshop

• Explore careers in fashion, clothing and textiles

• And much more.......
