During the entire month of October the library is proud to present the 1st Annual Art Exhibit featuring the Art of Cannon County. You can come by anytime during open hours to view the highly creative pieces on display throughout the library.

Computer classes are coming. Be sure to stop in the library and let us know what kinds of classes you are interested in and when you want them.

As we look toward 2015, the Library has many more events in the works. For those cold winter months, the Library will be sponsoring a winter reading program called, "Snow is falling, Books are calling", for teens and adults. The program will run January 5-February 28, 2015. Read 5 books and be entered for a prize. The cold winter months are the perfect time to snuggle in with a good book.

The works of local artisans will be on display in 2015. For the month of February, the Library will be hosting a quilt and fiber arts show. In March the Library will be hosting a photography show, and in April we will host another art exhibit. Begin now to sew your quilts, develop your photographs and frame your art. Art brings joy to the spirit and sharing it brings joy to the community, so if you are one of the many talented residents of our community, please consider displaying your work at the Library.

The Library is looking for volunteers...

The library is always looking for people interested in sharing their talents and abilities. If you want to share your knowledge and skills with the community call or come in to discuss your ideas, we can't wait to have even more excitement at the library.
For more details on any of the events listed here call 563-5861 and join us at the Library.
