Two Women Charged With Theft

Two Woodbury women face theft charges following their arrests recently in separate incidents.

• Vicky Suzanne McClure, 526 McFerrin St., Woodbury, was charged with theft over $1,000 on Sept. 13 by Woodbury Assistant Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham. McClure reportedly had at her residence a jewelry box, containing jewelry, which had allegedly been taken from the residence next door. A bag of scrap jewelry was recovered from McClure’s residence, as well as the jewelry box, which were identified by the victim. Bond was set at $7,500. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• Mandi Jo Matthews, 415 Doolittle Rd., Woodbury, was charged with theft under $500 on Sept. 14 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney. Matthews allegedly stole $90 from the victim. Bond was set at $1,800. Initial court date is Oct. 4.

• Marie Mae North, 2934 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Woodbury, was charged with simple possession of a Schedule IV drug on Sept. 16 by Woodbury Patrolman Chris Brown. During an incident at 117-A McBroom St., Patrolman Brown found an alleged marijuana cigarette during a consensual search of North’s wallet. A release citation was issue. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• Coty Brandon Ferrell, 113 Stage Road Manor, Woodbury, was charged with domestic assault on Sept. 17 by Woodbury Assistant Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham. Upon receiving a call to Ferrell’s address of a verbal domestic dispute, and after speaking with Ferrell, his girlfriend, and other witnesses present, it was determined Ferrell was the primary aggressor, in that he put his forehead on the forehead of his girlfriend in an aggressive manner and backed her into the kitchen area of the apartment and wouldn’t move or let her leave. Bond was set at $5,000. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• James Chad Emberton, 203 Terrace Lane, Woodbury, was charged with theft under $500 on Sept. 6 by Woodbury Patrolman Chris Brown. Emberton allegedly put a pack of 9-volt batteries in his pocket while at Ace Hardware and left the store without paying for them. The batteries are valued at $5.21. Bond was set at $3,000. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• Bejamin Casey Roberts, 5357 Murfreesboro Rd., Readyville, was charged with DUI 1st offense and driving on a suspended license on Sept. 16 by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire following a traffic stop on Old Murfreesboro Road. Roberts initially admitted to drinking a beer, but later stated he also drank vodka. Field sobriety tests performed by Roberts suggested he was too intoxicated to operate his vehicle. Bond was set at $4,500. Initial court date is Nov. 15.

• Jeffrey Andrew Johnson, 1900 Short Mountain Road, Woodbury, was charged with DUI 1st offense, simple possession of a Schedule II drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the financial responsibility law on Sept. 9 by Woodbury Police Sgt. Lowell Womack. Johnson allegedly had in his possession six and a half .20 mg morphine pills, a broken hose clamp with a blue residue and a rolled up $1 bill with a powdery residue inside. Johnson had his 5-year-old daughter in the vehicle with him when stopped on McMinnville Hwy. Bond was set at $10,500. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• Jason Todd Tenpenny, 864 Doolittle Road, Woodbury, was charged with theft over $1,000 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Moss. Tenpenny’s vehicle had a VIN plate fixed on top of the original VIN plate. The original VIN was confirmed to be from a vehicle stolen out of Dechard in 2009. Bond was set at $5,000. Initial court date is Nov. 1.

• Noah Wesley Harris, 583 JWS Lane, Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license by Woodbury Patrolman Chris Brown following a traffic stop on Gassaway Road. Bond was set at $1,500. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• Jessica Nicole Hollis, 313 Hayes St., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a revoked license on Sept. 15 by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire following a traffic stop on W. Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Nov. 15.

• Timothy R. Mix, 24 Hopewell Rd., Bradyville, was charged with driving on a revoked license (for DUI) on Sept. 17 by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire following a traffic stop on N. McCrary Street. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Nov. 15.
