Two Men Face Domestic Assault Charges

Two Woodbury men are facing charges of domestic charges following their arrests in separate incidents.

• Richard Wayne Erquhart, 2639 Eugene Reed Rd., Woodbury, was charged with domestic assault on July 9 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Sgt. Lawrence Avera. Erquhart allegedly threatened the victim by stating, “I’ll knock your … brains out.” He then punched a glass door. Erquhart pled guilty to the charge on July 12 in Cannon County General Sessions Court. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days, ordered to serve three days in the county jail, given credit for time served, and placed on probation for 11 months, 26 days. He was also assessed court costs.

• Joseph Warren, 10150 Hollow Springs Rd., Woodbury, was charged with domestic assault on July 10 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Seth Perry. Warren allegedly told the purported victim that he would run her off the road, and that he would kick in the door of the house if she did not come home. Warren allegedly maintained an aggressive attitude while in the presence of officers. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is Aug. 16. 

• Bridgette Shyanne Johnson, 251 McCall Lane, Woodbury, was charged with public intoxication on July 9 following an incident on South McCrary St. by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire. Johnson allegedly had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about her person, her statements didn’t make sense, and she was verbally combative. Johnson failed when she submitted a breath sample to a PBT.

• Bobby J. Davenport, Jr., 535 Knight Road, McMinnville, was charged with driving on a suspended license on July 10 by Woodbury Assistant Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham following a traffic stop on W. Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Aug. 9.

• Lori Salser Farmer, 3004 Eugene Reed Rd., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license on July 8 by Woodbury Patrolman Chris Brown. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Aug. 9.

• Angela Jennifer Markum, 792 Sunny Slope Rd., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a revoked license on July 3 by Woodbury Assistant Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham following a traffic stop on Sunny Slope Rd. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Aug. 9.

• Devon Aaron Gunter, 407 South Ridge Dr., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license on July 11 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve McMillen. Gunter was stopped after he was observed pulling into the parking lot of Quick Shop. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Aug. 16.
