Burglary Arrests
A Readyville couple was arrested and charged with the January 18th burglary of New Hope Church of Christ.
Arrested were Gregory Matthew Speck and Billie Michaela Vanderpool of Locke Creek Road. Both were charged with burglary, vandalism and theft.
A number of times were taken including $300 in cash, an Apple TV receiver and a Hewlett Packard computer.
Originally investigating the burglary were Deputies Travis Turney and Greg Moore. Investigator Brandon Gullett was called in and collected a number of fingerprints, which were subsequently identified by the TBI as including those of Vanderpool.
Hearings are set for June 6 in General Sessions Court.
DUI Charge
Patty Elizabeth Parker of Auburntown was charged with DUI following a single-car crash at the intersection of Poplar Bluff and Kennedy Creek Roads.
Parker was extricate from a gray, late model Chevy truck which had flipped on its top.
A hearing was set for June 6 in General Sessions Court.
Fraudulent use of a debit card
A Cannon County women reported fraudulent use of her debit card in Hollywood, CA. had been made in Hollywood, Cal on her debit card. The victim said once that she saw the charges, her bank was notified and the card canceled.
Drug Charges
Ricky D. Arnold, 51, of Bullpen Road, was charged with possession of marijuana (5.2 grams) in addition to seven warrants. A hearing is set for June 6 in General Sessions Court.
DUI
James R. King, Halls Hill Pike, Murfreesboro, was charged with DUI. A hearing is set for August 1 in General Sessions Court.
Speeding in a School Zone
Jeffrey A. Burrows of McMinnville was charged with 55 mph in a school zone and driving on a suspended Massachusetts license. A hearing was set for June 6 in General Sessions Court.
Woodbury Police
Drug Charges
Steve Spencer Bennett was charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of morphine by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for May 9 in General Sessions Court.
DUI
Cecelia F Gerlach was charged with DUI, first offense, by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for General Sessions Court.
