Two Cannon County Players Named To All-State Football Team

The Tennessee Sports Writers Association has named two Cannon County High football players to its Class 3A All-State team.

Andrew Woodin was selected as an all-state defensive back. Lee Cooper was picked as the all-state punter in Class 3A by the sports writers.

Both Woodin and Cooper played key roles on both sides of the line of scrimmage as they led to Lions to the District 8-AA championship and their first appearance in the TSSAA Playoffs in 14 years.
