Two Bound Over To January Grand Jury Session



Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results from the various cases which appeared on the docket included:

John Cummings was bound over to the January, 2010 term of the Cannon County Grand Jury. He is charged with theft over $1,000.00.

James Lee Pendergrass was bound over to the January, 2010 term of the Cannon County Grand Jury. He is charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of the open container law.

Hope Dennis pled guilty to passing a worthless check. She was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying the court costs and paying the checks and service charges.

Winona Rains pled guilty to driving under the influence second offense. She was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, serving 30 days in jail, paying a $600.00 fine and paying the court costs. In addition, she will lose her driver's license for 2 years. In another case, Rains pled guilty to the charge of reckless endangerment. She was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, serving 15 days in jail and paying the court costs.

Misty Hollars pled guilty to the charge of driving on a suspended license. She was sentenced to 6 months in jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying a $50.00 fine and paying the court costs.

James Ingram pled guilty to domestic assault. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, serving 19 days in jail and paying the court costs.

Glenn Lewis Corn pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was extended and he was ordered to serve 30 days in jail.

Lisa Moody pled guilty to passing a worthless check. She was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying the court costs and paying the checks and service charges.

Melissa Joy Brown pled guilty to possession of schedule IV. She was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying the court costs and paying a $750.00 fine.

Ricky Cooper pled guilty to theft. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. He was ordered to serve his entire sentence.

Rodney Jankovski pled guilty to simple possession of a schedule drug. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying the court costs and paying a $250.00 fine.

Mack Sloan pled guilty to failure to appear. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying the court costs and paying restitution. In another case, Sloan pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was extended and he was ordered to serve 30 days in jail.

Brian Wells pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve his entire sentence.
