TTU Announces Fall 2010 Dean's List, Graduates

COOKEVILLE — Tennessee Tech University is pleased to announce the names of its Cannon County students included on the Dean’s List for Fall 2010.

Students earn the academic distinction by completing a full course load with a quality point average of 3.1 or better on the university’s 4.0 scale.

More than 770 graduates received degrees at a commencement ceremony in December. Students graduating from TTU this fall hail from 30 states including Tennessee, 74 Tennessee counties and 13 countries. They represent 39 undergraduate fields of study and 22 graduate fields. The oldest graduate was born in 1937 and the youngest in 1990.
Tennessee Tech University is one of the nation's 50 "Best Value" public colleges and universities according to The Princeton Review. TTU was one of only three public universities in Tennessee and the only TBR institution on the 2010 list. TTU has been named one of America's 100 Best College Buys, earning designation several years in a row as one of the nation's best college educations for the cost.
USNews & World Report has chosen TTU as one of the Top Public Schools in the South on multiple occasions, and the university has been chosen as a "Best Southeastern College" by The Princeton Review for several years.
A member of the Tennessee Board of Regents, TTU offers more than 40 undergraduate degree and 19 graduate degree programs, including the Ph.D. in engineering, environmental sciences and education.
