True Believers: Lions Enjoy Fantastic Support

Just as they have all season, the Cannon County Lions had fantastic community and school support behind them as they did battle with the Harpeth Indians in the opening round of the TSSAA Playoffs Friday night.

Parents, family members, friends, relatives and fellow students turned out to cheer on the Lions and, although they suffered a tough loss, took solace in the fact Cannon County had returned to the playoffs for the first time in 14 years and won the District 8-AA title despite being predicted to finish last.
