Trespassing, bad checks top court



Judge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included:


Barry Wayne Bynum pled guilty to trespassing. He was ordered to stay away from the premises.


Herbert T. Cobb entered a Nolo Contendere plea and was found guilty of reckless endangerment. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.


Jason Lewis Davenport pled guilty to domestic assault. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 5 months 2 days, equal time on probation and paying the costs.


Travis Joe Davenport agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve 7 days and his probation was extended 5 months 23 days.


Jason Lee Hodge agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve his original sentence.


Horace Horton pled guilty to public intoxication. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 7 days, equal time on probation, paying a $25.00 fine and the costs.


Mellanie Parsley Richardson pled guilty to driving without a license. She was sentenced to 6 months in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $50.00 fine and the costs.


Kayla Rena Sanders agreed to the violation of her probation. She was ordered to serve her original sentence of 11 months 29 days.
Tammie Jean Thompson pled guilty to public intoxication. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 7 days, equal time on probation, paying a $25.00 fine and the costs.


Zachary Ryan Wallen agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve 45 days and his probation was extended 16 months 12 days. In another case Wallen pled guilty to two counts of passing a worthless check. In each case Wallen was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. Those sentences were suspended upon equal time on probation, paying restitution and the costs.
