Traffic Stops Result In Drug Possession Charges

Recent traffic stops by local law enforcement resulted in drug possession, among other, charges.

• Jesse Joe Wilburn, 9263 Jim Cummings Hwy., Woodbury, was charged with Simple Possession of a Schedule II Drug and Driving on a Suspended License on Dec. 22 following a traffic stop on W. Main St. A pill was allegedly found in a silver purse under Wilburn’s seat during a consensual search. The silver purse was also next to a purse containing Wilburn’s property. Bond was set at $2,800. Initial court date is Feb. 21.

• William Keith Wilson, 5353 Cain Ridge Rd., Apt. 1317, Antioch, was charged with Simple Possession of a Schedule III Drug and Driving on a Suspended License on Dec. 23 following a traffic stop on McMinnville Hwy. Bond was set at $1,800. Initial court date is Jan. 24.

• Jesse Aaron Golden, 4255 New Home Rd., Smithville, was charged with Driving on a Revoked License on Dec. 14 following a traffic stop on McMinnville Hwy. Bond was set at $1,200. Initial court date is Jan. 14.

• Timothy Douglas Richards, 1300 Gassaway Rd., Woodbury, was charged with Driving on a Suspended License, Violation of the Seatbelt Law 3rd Offense and Violation of the Financial Responsibility Law on Dec. 21 following a traffic stop on Doolittle Rd. Release citations were issued. Initial court date is Jan. 24.

• Reginald R. Bryant, 120 Twin River Lane, Carthage, was charged with Driving Without a License on Dec. 22 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve McMillen. Bryant was involved in a traffic accident in the parking lot of Cannon Market on Jim Cummings Hwy. which caused property damage to the store’s roof. Initial court date is Feb. 7.

• Nathan M. Hillis, 605 Taylor Lake Rd., Morrison, was served a warrant charging him with Simple Assault on Dec. 22 by Cannon County Sheriff’s deputies Steve McMillen and Jordan McGee. Hillis allegedly came at the purported victim in a threatening manner during an incident which occurred on Oct. 24. Bond was set at $800. Initial court date is Feb. 7.

• Todd Tweedel, 551 Bobo Hollow Rd., Tullahoma, was served a warrant charging him with Theft Over $1,000 on Dec. 22. The victim of the alleged theft states in the warrant that Tweedel was hired by a contractor to do remodeling work on a home on Jim Cummings Hwy. While at the residence, Tweedel allegedly stole five antique guns – two double-barrel rabbit ear shotguns, one 20-gauge shotgun, one 12-gauge shotgun and one 22-calibre rifle. Bond was set at $800. Initial court date is Feb. 7.

• Melissa Gail Andrews, 306 Jackson St., Smithville, was charged with Driving on a Revoked License on Dec. 23 following a traffic stop on McMinnville Hwy. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Jan. 24.

• Roger Lynn Martin, 1307 Tedder Blvd., Murfreesboro, was served a warrant on Dec. 24 charging him with Violation of Order of Protection. The warrant obtained by the purported victim alleges that on July 16, 2010, Martin called and left a voice message on the cell phone of a person covered by the protection order. Bond was set at $500. Initial court date is Jan. 10.

• Coby Cheyenne Fricks, 151 Parker Lane, Bradyville, was charged with Violation of the Financial Responsibility Law on Dec. 26 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve McMillen following a traffic stop on Doolittle Rd. Initial court date is Jan. 17.

• Ronald David Johnson, 624 Faith-Rae Blvd., Morrison, was charged with violations of the Traffic Control Device and Registration laws on Dec. 22 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney following a traffic stop on W. Main St. Initial court date is Feb. 28.

• Tabitha Renaye Dykes, 308 Parker Dr., Manchester, was charged with Violation of the Financial Responsibility law on Dec. 27 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan McGee following an investigation of a single-car accident on Hollow Springs Rd. Initial court date is Jan. 17.

• Susan Brown was served an arrest warrant for Worthless Check on Dec. 27 at 201 E. Water St. by Cannon County Sheriff’s Sgt. Randy Neal.

• Brandy Campbell was served arrest warrants for Violation of Probation and Failure to Appear on Dec. 27 in the booking room of the Cannon County Jail.

• Glenn Duzan was served an arrest warrant for Violation of Probation on Dec. 28 in the booking room of the county jail.

• Timothy Graham was served two Worthless Checks warrants on Dec. 12 in the booking room of the county jail.

• Napolean Wainwright was served a warrant for Violation of Probation on Dec. 21 in the booking room of the county jail.
