GLIMMER OF HOPE FOR THE TITANS THIS YEAR !!!!.....Boy, did they ever scalp the Bucanneers of Tampa Bay !! Congratulations...now that's how ya' get 'er done, boys !! Of course, now my friends in Florida are all mad at me.....HA!! It's worth it to see our team on top for a change !!
Another bit of excitement....I found a confederate flag for sale...and heck yeah, I snapped it up !! I feel so much better having that piece of history that so many people want to destroy. To heck with that.....and thanks again for all the local fellas that are flying that flag and the American flag together on
the back of their pick-up trucks. Pretty sight !!

Uncle Festus is a true rebel (in more ways than one) and a good man! A little off at times and does have his unlucky times, but all in all, he is my uncle !
The other day a salesman can to his door and was interrupted during his sales pitch by a pesky dog nipping at his heels. He asked Festus if his dog
bites and Festus told him: NO. Well, let me tell you, that dog started to tear into that sales guy with a vengeance and biting him really bad. He yelled at Festus and said: I thought you said YOUR dog didn't bite. Festus says: That's not MY dog.....

Well, Cousin Clarence went fishing the other day way off shore. Suddenly, he lost his balance and fell out of his boat and an oar hit him on his head and about knocked him out. The small boat filled up with water and Clarence was lucky enough to find a little island of rocks to cling to. Now, from what I understand, he had to be at least 30 miles off the mainland. He decided to swim for it. He got 15 miles closer to land...but began to get really tired....so he decided to swim back to the little island and rest. I mean, Clarence....you obviously did not do the math. I'll let you folks figure that one out.

Aunt Martha hates litterbugs.....she was driving home in the rain the other night and someone in front of her heaved a large white trash bag out the driver's side window. You guessed it : It landed smack dab right in front of her and stuck to her windshield . She careened off the road and came to a stop almost in a gully and removed the bag. She said it was almost as scary as the time she was coming home from the beauty parlor. A guy carelessly threw his cigarette out the window and it flew into her driver's side open window and set her hair on fire because of all the hairspray. She poured her diet pepsi all over her head to douse the flames. Oh, she was mad as a hornet ! She said it was almost as bad as when a bat flew in her window early evening one night when she also was coming home from the beauty shop and got all tangled up in her new hairdo. Poor thing had scratch marks on her scalp for weeks after that !! (My advice to her was to drive with her window up from now on....), You know, folks, if something's going to happen, it will happen to my relatives...every time! I pray every night that it is not contagious....
