Oh, Momma, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys....as the song goes. Well, whether they are cowboys, cowgirls or whatever they have chosen to be, I most certainly hope they all wished their mommas a happy Mother's Day!! I am writing this the day after Mom's Day and feel very blessed with sons, family and friends who remembered me. I send my love to all of you wonderful ladies and want you to know how valuable you are and how precious you are everyday of the year!

We are by no means perfect, but don't tell anyone that! No set of instructions come with the job description that we are faced with daily. Not enough time in one day, not enough funds in the bank, too many kids to carpool and not enough seats, too much laundry with missing socks, too many trips to the grocery store and forgetting the one thing we went there for, not enough magic genies popping out of their lamp to clean the house and do the gardening, too many pets and more pets. Oh, the list goes on...don't'cha know!

My girlfriend, called me yesterday and said she was upset with her husband and what he said to her when he woke up that morning. I said, well, what did he say? She said, Where am I, Kathy? I said, well why did that upset you? She said, 'cause my name is Susan! (ooops.....)

Uncle Clem recently had his truck broken into and got a glimpse of the person who fled from the scene. When he reported the incident to the police, they asked him if he could describe the individual. Uncle Clem said, he was about medium height and had a beard. Then, they asked was it a male or female? Clem said, unless the circus was in town, I'm going with "male". (That's as bad as asking a person if they were present when their picture was taken!)

My cousins, Sidney and Clarence, who work for the local morgue, was asked how many autopsies have they performed on dead people. They replied: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a fight! Good grief, where do people come up with this stuff?

Anyway, all you good folks keep on coming into The Trading Post. We love having you and listening to your positive comments, stories and see your eyes light up when discovering just the thing you had been looking for!! Yes, indeed!

I will sign off for now and do some more Chat next week with all of you. Remember to take care of each other and be happy with who you are. Keep smiling and enjoy that sweet sunshine that we are blessed with.

Hugs, Savannah
