What a fantastic week-end at The Short Mountain Trading Post!

The first annual Spring Fling Flea Market Day was a super success! Many thanks to all the vendors who participated and to the super crowd of folks who attended. There was a fantastic mixture of items for sale.

Antiques, housewares, gorgeous mirrors, pictures, appliances, dolls, glassware, baked goods, jams and jellies, plants and even farm fresh eggs. Something for everybody.

We have the Corvette Club and the Antique Car Club show up. Lots of locals and many of those far away.
The tables full of clothing was a hit with fill the bag to the top for a buck.

We will feature that again at our next flea market day.

Many thanks to Chef J.D. for all the barbecued hot dogs and to Uncle Bradley who kept everybody stocked with sodas, iced tea and water. All in all, it was a most successful fun day for everyone.

Our next Flea Market Day: The Bloomin' June Bug Flea Market Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th. Now is the time to reserve your free vendor space and stock up on all the goodies you have to sell. Please call at Savannah at: 615-464-7824 for further information.

Our Farmer's Market is underway and to be held every Thursday. Our opening day will soon be announced. So far, we have baked goods, Jams and jellies, eggs and some fresh produce. Definitely need more vendors.

No charge to set up...all monies are yours...just call Savannah at the number above and join in.

Like I said, folks really enjoyed visiting the Trading Post and being amazed at how it was renovated and used for craft booths and the huge loft full of country antiques and gifts. The Loft also includes a perpetual Christmas room, children's toy and gift room, ladies boutique, country kitchen, living room, grandpa room and parlor. Come and see.
This summer fun activities will include more b-b-q's, mule wagon rides, live music and craft shows.

Thanks again everyone for making this past week-end a big hit and we are so glad you came to see us.
