Oh my gosh, the sun is out and it is such a warm healthy day out there!! Now, mind you, I am writing this column at the time of a warm and sunny day!! Tennessee is well known for "wait a minute, the weather will change within the next hour!" For now, keep the faith that spring just may be on it's way!!

Gorgeous happy weather certainly brings the folks into the Trading Post, as the cold weather definitely put us on hold. By the time you read this, our Spring Fling Flea Market would have taken place on Saturday, April 5th. I want to thank all the folks who reserved their spaces and participated in such a fun event!! Many thanks to the merchants who allowed us to post our bulletins to help advertise throughout the area!! It is so special to be part of a community where everybody helps one another. Means a lot!!

We are planning to have the Flea Market events throughout the summer and fall, so if you didn't get a chance this time to set up a table (free of charge) please give me a call at 615-464-7824 and reserve a spot for our next one!! Also, please call and reserve market space (free) for the Farmer's Market and for further information on being part of our craftsman community.

My cousin Clara heard on the news that there was a "shortage of clowns" in the area. Now, she can leave one circus and join another!! Strange gal! She would practice telling jokes all day long to my Uncle Clem. Fortunately, his loss of hearing came in handy, as he couldn't even hear a nitro glycerin plant blow up!!

My neighbor stopped by yesterday all bruised up and his arm in a sling. Evidently, he got into a confrontation with a fella on the highway. He said that "developing road rage while driving a convertible is not advisable". Ok, Sidney, you can go lie down now !
To beat all, my heavy-set forever-dieting best friend told me that she had to call her Maytag man for an appliance repair. After an hour examination, his verdict was "Lady, you have to stop blaming the dryer for your clothes not fitting!" Boy, was she mad that he couldn't fix her problem! Sigh....

Okay, I am worn out for now, folks!! Love you all!! Smile...always keep that frown upside down!! Chat with ya' next week.
Hugs, Savannah
