Trading Post Chat

SAVANNAH CUNNICK

Hey, I know I told everyone that I loved cold weather and the winter season, but within "reason". Whew!! Better watch out what I wish for from now on!! Our wonderful Trading Post has been a mite chilly and not comfortable for us to be
open as often as we want, but it hasn't stopped us from searching and finding some great antiques, unique decorative items and continue to create our crafts for this spring.

The Short Mountain Distillery is also very busy preparing for another successful season with surprises for their guests !!
The Short Mountain Trading Post is scheduling their Spring Fling Flea Market Day on Saturday April 5th. Keep those calls
coming in to reserve your FREE spot to sell all those exciting items you have been collecting just for this event. Food, drinks and restroom facilities are available, so bring your tables and chairs and stuff and enjoy the day while making money and having fun.. All it costs is your time and a little effort.

Make sure you register with Savannah at 615-464-7824.

Carolyn Motley with the Cannon County Chamber of Commerce called me today about attending a meeting with all the
Woodbury merchants to discuss ideas for even more exciting events for this coming year. It is great to work together as a family instead of rivals. This way Our community will successfully grow into quite an attraction and put us on the map all year long for tourist visitation and increased revenue for all.

We have a beautiful county here full of proud hardworking people. Give it a shout!! My friend spoke to me the other day about her husband just retiring and "without a hobby". Boy, was he ever driving her nuts!

Let's get him into the craft world and take a load off her. Retirement does not have the word "idle" in it. "Relax", but keep busy with a sense of humor and adventure.

On a sad note, we are missing our beautiful gray male mascot kitty cat at the Post. If any of you nearby has possibly seen him, please call sad me Savannah at 615-464-7824.

Everyone loves "Ecoute" and wants him back. Reward for his return. He means a lot to us!! Thanks. Someone is always
available for any questions, inquiries or comments at The Trading Post, Distillery or at the number above.

Have a great week, stay warm and happy and hug each other.
