Tony Neal Announces for District 4 County Commissioner
My name is Tony Neal and I have lived in Cannon County all of my life in the Short Mountain community. My parents are A. J. & Brenda Neal. My grandparents were the late C. and Reba Neal and Bill and Annabelle Preston. My wife, Tracy, and I have been married for twenty years. I graduated from Cannon County High School in 1981.

I work full-time at Yorozu Automotive in Morrison. I have been a volunteer firefighter with the Short Mountain Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years now, and I am the First Responder for that area. I also enjoy teaching classes as an American Heart Association certified CPR & First Aid instructor.

Since I grew up here, I know so many people in the Short Mountain and Eastside communities. This has always been and always will be my home. My goal is to become involved in making sure that Cannon County keeps up with all of the new changes each year brings, yet remains the small down-home place we all love.

I want our children to have the best education we can give them. I want our citizens to be able to work in and be proud of our county. I still want to drive by the courthouse and be able to catch a glimpse of people relaxing and whittling early in the morning. I believe Cannon County can be the best of both worlds.

I will be getting out to try to talk to everyone in the fourth district during the next few months, and look forward to meeting new people and catching up with the ones I already know. If elected, I will be representing YOU and I will do it honestly, respectfully, and with great thought into each and every issue presented before me as commissioner.

Please remember to vote on August 5th.
