Three Men Enter Guilty Pleas To Drug Charges



Three men pled guilty to drug charges in Cannon County Circuit Court on Friday, March 9 before Judge Don Ash.

• Doyle Mooneyham pled guilty to Manufacture Of Methamphetamine Over .05 Grams. He received a 12-year suspended sentence and was placed on Community Corrections for 12 years. He was also fined $2,000, assessed court costs, ordered to forfeit sized property and perform 200 hours of community service work.

• Jimmy D. Davis pled guilty to Manufacture Of Methamphetamine Over .5 Grams. He received a 10-year suspended sentence and equal time on Community Corrections, a $2,000 fine and was assessed court costs. Davis also pled guilty to Theft Over $10,000 and was placed on Community Corrections for 4 years and was assessed court costs. He also pled guilty to Theft Over $1,000 and received 2 years on Community Corrections, to run consecutive to the meth-making conviction. He was also ordered to pay court costs.

• Charles James King pled guilty to Manufacture Of Marijuana. He received a 2-year suspended sentence and equal time in state supervised probation. He was also fined $2,000, assessed court costs, and will have to forfeit property seized during the course of the investigation.
