The following outcomes occurred in Judge Susan Melton's General Sessions Court Tuesday, Jan. 11:

Nicholas Alan Adams had a charge of failure to pay court costs dismissed after he paid them.

Beverly Adamson, charged with possession of Schedule II drugs, possession of Schedule IV drugs, possession of a Legend drug, was continued until Feb. 1.

Kenneth Franklin Anderson, Jr., charged with theft over $500 and revoked license, was continued until March 1.

Lonnie Ray Bain pled guilty to a charge of public intoxication and was sentenced to serve 30 day in the Cnnon County Jail. A disorderly conduct charge was dismissed without cost.

Jeramy Dennis Barnes, charged with suspended license, registration, insurance law violations, was continued until March 1.

Jacqueline Lynn Barrett, charged with shoplifting, was continued.

David Allen Bedwell, charged with suspended license (2nd offense), was continued until Feb. 15.

Clifford Wayne Brothers, charged with resisting arrest, was continued.

Willie Lee Brown, charged with aggravated assault, was dismissed.

Mary Ellen Carmack, burglary of a vehicle, theft under $500, vandalism under $500, false report, was continued until March 29.

Jackie J. Cox, charged with public intoxication, was continued.

Phillip Dinovo, charged with theft under $500, was continued.

Ronnie Eugene Gilley, charged with simple assault, was continued until March 1.

Charles Thomas Grizzle pled guilty to the charge of violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve his entire sentence. He was given credit for 154 days time served. Grizzle had bound over the the Jan. 28 session of the Cannon County Grand Jury charges of possession of Schedule II drugs for resale, possession of Schedule VI drugs for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

Tonya Faye Holland, charged with worthless check, had her case dismissed after she posted a cash bond to covered the check, service charges and court costs.

Justin Paul Hutchins, charged with suspended license, insurance law violation, was continued until Feb. 1.

Edward Andrew Johnson, chrarged possession of a still or part of a still, was continued until April 19.

Kim Johnson, charged with harassment, was continued until Feb. 1.

Kerry M. Jordan, charged with DUI, promotion of meth manufacture and violation of the implied consent law, was continued until March 1.

Micheal A. Murphy pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, and given credit for 10 days time served. His probation was extended 7 months, 29 days.

Kimberly Dawn Myers, speeding (79/55), seat belt law violation, was continued.

Brittany Lynn Ross pled guilty to violation of probation. Her probation was revoked and she was ordered to serve her entire sentence, to run concurrent with a sentence being served in Rutherford County. Ross has bound over to the Jan. 28 session of the grand jury charges of aggravated burglary, aggravated criminal trespass, unlawful possession of a weapon, theft over $500, simple possession, possession of a Legend drug (two counts), violation of probation.

Dan Arthur Scott, charged with driving on a revoked license, was continued until March 1.

Garrett W. Shirley, charged with DUI (2nd offense), felony evading arrest, violation of the implied consent law, was continued until March 1.

Regina Ann Smith, charged with simple possession, drug paraphernalia, was continued.

Barry Lee Spurlock, charged with DUI, had his case bound over to the Jan. 28 session of the grand jury.

Mandi Dawn Sullivan, DUI, failure to obey traffic control device, signal, was continued.

Shea Michael Swain, charged with criminal trespass, was continued for six months subject to good and lawful behavior. He must also stay off the victim's property. The charges will be dismissed without cost after six months if he complies.

Justin Aaron Taggart, charged with domestic assault, was continued until Feb. 1.

Milton Garfield Taylor, Jr., charged with aggravated assault, was dismissed.

Kimberly Lynn Thomas, who made two motions to waive fines/reduce costs, had payment of court costs waived for a period of three months. Her probation was suspended for three months.

Justin Lee Todd pled guilty to violation of probation. He was ordered to serve 33 days in the county jail and given credit for time served. His probation was extended nine months, 26 days.

Amye Michelle Webb pled guilty to a charge of public intoxication. She was given a 30 day suspended sentence and placed on probation for 30 days. She was assessed a $50 fine and court costs.

Brian Neil Wells pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was extended for 21 months, 5 days. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail and given credit for 42 days time served.

Christopher A. Turley pled guilty to violation of probation. He was sentenced to serve 46 days in jail, and given credit for one day served in the Cannon County Jail and 45 in the Rutherford County Jail. His probation was extended nine months, 23 days and he was ordered to pay court costs.
