Three Face Domestic Assault Charges

Three men were charged recently with domestic assault in separate incidents.

• Jodie Wade Taylor, 144 Martin Dr., Liberty, was charged with domestic assault on March 22 by CCSD Investigator Anthony Young. Taylor allegedly hit the victim in the side of the head. Bond was set at $3,000. Initial court date is June 7.

• James Paul Glenn, 7125 Short Mountain Hwy., Woodbury, was charged with domestic assault by CCSD Deputy Lawrence Avera on March 30. Glenn allegedly caused the victim to be intimidated and to reasonably fear imminent bodily injury or death to her and her three children by encouraging and provoking her “to call the police and he would blast every one of them and show her what would happen.”

Glenn did this by voicemail messages. He also sent messages stating he had a gun waiting with him for when we (police) arrived and threatened to leave with the kids, stating he woke them up so they could watch what happens. Following the voicemails he sent a picture of a .22 rifle on his lap.

Glenn was intoxicated at the time of his arrest, according to the warrant. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is May 3.

• Dustin Ray Bain, 6216 Dug Hollow Rd., Bradyville, was charged with aggravated domestic assault on March 29 by CCSD Deputy Lawrence Avera. Bain allegedly caused the victim to reasonably fear imminent bodily injury or death while displaying a weapon.

Bain also allegedly threw a flower pot which hit the victim in the chest, and held a large knife and told her he would cut her throat with it. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is May 3.
