Three Enter Guilty Pleas In Drug Cases



Judge Don Ash presided over Cannon County Circuit Court on Thursday. Some of the results from the various cases which appeared on the docket included:
 
Brandi Deese pled guilty to the charge of sale of a schedule 2 controlled substance. She was sentenced to 3 years in prison and fined $2,000.00 and ordered to pay the court costs. A suspended sentence hearing was schedule for November 5, 2010.
 
Joseph P. Brinkley pled guilty to the charge of promotion of methamphetamine manufacturing. He was sentenced to 2 years in prison.  That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying a $2,000.00 fine and paying the court costs.  In addition, Ash ordered that Brinkley would serve his entire sentence if he violated probation.

Katherine Goodman pled guilty to two counts of sale of schedule 2 drugs. She was sentenced to 4 years in prison. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying a $6,000.00 fine and paying the court costs.

Ethan Taylor's petition for suspended sentence was denied by Judge Ash.
 
Raymond Farless pled guilty to the charge of violation of probation.  His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve his entire sentence.
