Three Charged In Separate Domestic Disputes



Two men and one woman were recently charged in three separate domestic disputes.

• Alyssa M. Coleman, 674 Sunny Slope Rd., Woodbury, was charged with Contempt of Court on May 1 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney. Following a guilty plea to Domestic Assault on March 21, Coleman was ordered to have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family as a condition of probation. She was found to be in direct contact with both when deputies responded to a call for a fight in progress on Sunny Slope Rd. Bond was set at $1,000. Initial court date is June 5.

• Royce A. Foster, 4922 Jacobs Pillar Road, Smithville, was charged with Domestic Assault on April 29 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Reed Bryson. Foster allegedly struck the purported victim about the face, causing injury to his left eye. Foster is currently out on bond for charges of Domestic Assault and Theft Over $1,000 for an incident which occurred on Nov. 11 of last year. He had those charges bound over to the May 25 Term of the Cannon County Grand Jury. Bond for the latest charge was set at $1,000 and Foster is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 5.

• Charges of Stalking and Harassment were lodged against Joshua Dwayne Holt,46 Patterson Rd., Smithville, on April 26 by his estranged wife, Heather Holt. The purported victim alleges in the warrants she obtained from a judicial commissioner that Joshua Holt was following her while she was driving on Iconium Rd, and then jumped into her car when she exited and began locking the doors. She alleges he has also been contacting her by phone after she has told him not to. The couple has been separated since January. Bond was set at $1,000. Joshua Holt has a hearing scheduled in Cannon County General Sessions Court on June 5.
