THP To Conduct Saturation Patrols Friday

Tennessee Highway Patrol Sergeants Billy Prater, Jon Officer, Rick Woodward, and Jimmy Jones are announcing there will be Saturation Patrols on US70S Friday, July 20, 2012.

This multi-agency, multi-county saturation is being conducted together with the Cannon, Rutherford, Warren, White and Van Buren County Sheriff’s Departments and the McMinnville and Woodbury Police Departments.

US70S runs from State Highway 111 in White County to the intersection of US 41 in Murfreesboro, passing through Van Buren,Warren and Cannon Counties.

Officers will be diligent in observing for impaired drivers and those not wearing their seatbelts. Overtime hours may be used to increase the number of Troopers working this saturation.

Sergeant Prater is the THP supervisor for Cannon & Warren Counties; Sergeant Jones is the THP supervisor for White and Van Buren Counties, which are in the Cookeville District of the THP.

Sergeant Officer and Sergeant Woodward are the THP supervisors for Rutherford County, which is in the Nashville THP District.
