The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released a report on a two-vehicle, head-on collusion Sunday morning in Auburntown which killed three people.

According to Trooper Andrew Collier, who investigated the incident, the wreck occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. at 1035 State Highway 96 in Cannon County.

Collier reports a 2004 Pontiac driven by Joshua B. Harris, 35, of Murfreesboro was traveling east in Hwy. 96 when it crossed over the center line and collided with a 2013 Ford driven by Taylor R. Burrow, 25, also of Murfreesboro, which was traveling west.

Dakota J. Franks, 26, of Savannah, Tenn., was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Burrow.

Both vehicles traveled a short distance off the roadway following the collusion before coming to a rest, Collier's report states.

Harris, Burrow and Franks all died on impact, according to the report.

Drinking may have been involved on the part of Harris, and drinking and possible drug use was allegedly involved with Burrow and Franks. Collier's report indicates.

Both drivers and the passenger in Burrow's vehicle were wearing seat belts, Collier reported. There is no indication adverse weather or road conditions were a factor.
