Country Music Jam Session
Pocahontas Community Center
1st and 3rd Fridays
A country music jam sessions is set for the first and third Fridays of each month at the Pocahontas Community Center, 1441 Pocahontas Road, Morrison. Cannon Hall

Framed vintage family photos from the breadth of Cannon County families will be on display in Cannon Hall beginning in May 2015 and will conclude with an old fashioned "family reunion" reception in October 2015.
Cannon Hall is a 2,600 square foot exhibition and event space located inside The Arts Center at 1424 John Bragg Highway, Woodbury.. We display works from our collection as well as loaned works from private collections and public institutions. Admission to Cannon Hall is free. Red Apple Days
Auburntown
July 31-Aug. 1
Held at C.H. Hawkins Park, gospel music on Friday evening. Saturday begins with a 5K run, vendors, entertainment and a fish fry at the Community Center. Friday night's schedule includes Men of Grace at 5 p.m. Because He Lives at 6 p.m., Dave Surett at 7 p.m. and Jay Winchester Ministries at 8 p.m. Saturday's events begin at 7 a.m. with the Red Apple 500, car show at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., games in the park from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Apple Desert Cookoff at 10 a.m., the Lions Club Fish Fry and the Red Apple Parade at noon, a Rook tournament will follow the parade. For the 2 p.m. Red Apple 500, the "race cars" must have four wheels and no motor. Entrants should be wearing a costume. Performing in the evening will be the Nichols Family, Prosperity Baptist, the Stallman Family, Missfits, the Billy Moulder Group, Nokes Boys and the Gilley Brothers. Bring your lawn chairs. The George-Tate Family reunion is set for Gassaway Community Center. Hours are 10:30 a.m. - until. Pot luck dinner will be served at noon. In the beginning, John B. (J.B.) Tate married Sarah Elizabeth Blair on March 7, 1893. Their child Jennie B. Tate married Sammie George on April 4, 1934. Sharing of family photos will be appreciated.
