Beginners Beekeeping Class
Saturday, Jan. 10
Highland Rim Beekeepers Association is conducting a beginners beekeeping course on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Warren County Administration Building located at 201 Locust St. in McMinnville. Time is 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Instructions include how to start beekeeping, managing beehives, harvesting honey and assembling equipment. Cost is $30 per person. Country Music Jam Session
Pocahontas Community Center
1st and 3rd Fridays
A country music jam sessions is set for the first and third Fridays of each month at the Pocahontas Community Center, 1441 Pocahontas Road, Morrison. American Legion Auxiliary is in need of new books to donate to the Fisher House which is a rehabilitation home for our local wounded veterans.
