Auditions for Sweeney Todd, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 16 and 17
Auditions for the October show, “Sweeney Todd,” are set for 6:30 p.m. at The Arts Center of Cannon County. All those auditioning should bring a prepared piece for a provided accompanist or you may sing a cappella, no CDs please. It should consist of a maximum 2 minutes (from the show or in the style of the show). There are roles available for women and men ages 18 and up and one boy able to play age 14 and up. Free Food Distribution Saturday, July 27
There will be a free food giveaway on Saturday, July 27 starting no later than 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the Lion’s Club, 634 Lehman Street, Woodbury. Please bring your own box, laundry basket, or container to put the food in. Everyone is welcome. This will be a “drive thru” distribution. Cars should line up on Lehman Street, going down the hill from S. College Street. Each car will be directed through the parking lot of the Lion’s Club and out Lehman Street to Adams Street. There will be a limit of food for two families for each car in order to insure that those at the end of the line receive more food. For more information, contact the church office at 563-2135.
