Thank you from Cannon Co. SAVE

Staff

As the director of Cannon County SAVE, I would like to take this time to thank everyone who helped with this year's Christmas Angel Tree.

The Angel Tree provides Christmas for children in need in Cannon County. The outpouring of support from the community was unbelievable. Through the efforts of several businesses, individuals, churches and agencies, 250 children had a much brighter and happier Christmas. The children all received gifts for Christmas and several attended a party at First Bank and had their picture made with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. There were also several food boxes given out to some of the children and their families. Several seniors received fruit baskets from Sycamore Baptist Church and Boxes of Love from Middle TN Electric. Everyone involved, both givers and receivers, were blessed during this holiday season.

First Bank, Beth Pope, Regions Bank, Mindy Gunter, First National Bank, Teresa Danford, Woodbury Dollar Market, Debbie Melton, Woodbury Courthouse, Holly Parker, Iconium Church of Christ, Chloe Parker, Woodbury Church of Christ Day School, Larry and Wanda Parker, First United Methodist Church, Crane Interiors, Woodbury Police Department, Cannon County Sheriff’s Department, Lynn Adams, Gerald and Marsha Melton, Ingrid Grissom, Chris Anderson, Shalynn Clark, Amanda Yonk, Tommy and Linda Malone, Lucia Gage, Middle Tennessee Electric, Cannon Courier, Cannon County Chamber of Commerce, Holly Baird, Diane Wolcott, John and Linda Hembree, Kelsie Rogers, DTC, WBRY Radio, Sycamore Baptist Church and all the individuals who sponsored angels or made monetary donations towards the Angel Tree.

It is great to know God is alive and well in Cannon County and has lots of Angels here on Earth doing his work.
