Cannon County Trustee writes a receipt for a property owner paying their taxes Thursday.
The Cannon County Trustee's Office has been especially busy this week as the deadline approaches to pay property taxes.

Trustee James Maxwell said that the line for the year-end payment of property taxes has been consistent this week at the courthouse.

Property owners have until Feb. 28 to pay their taxes, or face a penalty.
